While there is no doubt that an in-house, well-trained, and versatile operation department is a great asset, it also has some limitations.

Last but not least, many of the procedures you can perform within your company are not always the fastest way. Operators are often bound by official deadlines to apply, and the application will be thoroughly checked, while the trip support company has either contacts or local agents that can speed up the process.

All in all, it is worth considering outsourcing full or part of your operations, especially for small structures. You will gain in flexibility, knowledge, resources, and benefit from a network you could mostly not access with your own team.
